These two have been partners working in AC-12 since the very beginning when Steve was transferred after refusing to cover up an unlawful shooting in his firearms unit.
Under Superintendent Ted Hastings they’ve been investigating corruption within the police force, and working towards unveiling the elusive H.
Kate has risen through the ranks since the series first started, going from a DC to a DS and then a DI in the latest season.
Over the years they’ve both driven a number of cars but in the latest series Kate’s been driving a VW Golf.
