Xcite Car Leasing's Leasing Consultant Paul Samways

Say hello to Paul Samways! 👋

Paul recently joined the sales team along with his wife Sharon as one of our Leasing Consultants. He’ll be responsible for helping you find the right deal for your new car.

Although he's only recently joined the team Paul has over eight years of experience in the motor industry, working with several dealers including VW, Audi and BMW so he has extensive knowledge of these brands and their vehicles.

What he enjoys about working for Xcite Car Leasing is the friendly team, and he says everyone has been extremely helpful as he’s been learning the ropes. Paul also enjoys that every day is different and he gets to help a wide range of people.

Paul passed his driving test at nineteen years old. At the time he was in the RAF so went through an intensive course with them over two weeks and then took the test and passed first time.

Once he’d passed his test the first car Paul got was a Ford Fiesta Mk2 1.1 in white which he said was pretty slow and basic but the ideal first car as it was cheap to purchase and run and offered him a sense of freedom with the mobility it provided.

He’s currently got a Skoda Kodiaq on order for his next lease vehicle which he chose because it provides plenty of room for the entire family including the two dogs who have recently joined.

His favourite car is the BMW X5 M50d in mineral white as it’s the best family SUVs that he’s been able to drive and offers great space without compromising on power. But his dream car to have would be a red Ferrari 812 Superfast.

If he gets control of the radio Paul has a fairly varied mix of music he likes to listen to including: Joy Division, New Order, The Stone Roses, James and Gavin Clark.
