Honda has used the same underpinnings across the Civic family and the larger CR-V as you'll find in the ZR-V. Like the Civic it's only available as a self charging petrol hybrid, with a 2.0 litre petrol engine, two electric motors and a small EV battery.
Unlike many hybrids the HR-V rarely uses the internal combustion engine to power the car directly, instead the engine charges the battery in the electric system as needed and the electric motors drive the car. This means that at low speeds the car is incredibly quiet and you'll get great fuel efficiency.
We always recommend comparing the deals you see above with similar models across brands to make sure you're getting the right car at the right price for you. Models you'll want to look at when comparing the ZR-V include the Renault Austral, Hyundai Tucson and Ford Kuga.
