At Xcite Car Leasing we believe in giving back to our community!
People are at the core of our business values, both as our customers and our staff. Which is why we think it's important for us to support others in our wider community.
All of our staff have can take 2 paid days each year for charity work, whether that's with the charity we're supporting or their own independent charity activities. So far we've seen charity days being used for:
And we expect to see more activities as the year goes on.
We are supporting Julia's House in 2025 and all of our internal efforts go towards raising money for this great cause.
Julia's House is a children's hospice charity in Dorset and Wiltshire that supports children with life limiting conditions and their families.
Our first charity event of 2025 was an office based event, which included a bake sale, raffle and F1 lottery.
As you can see from the picture above we had plenty of bakers contribute to the event.
Also pictured above are Spencer and Tim enjoying a sample of each baker's delicious treats.
All cakes were entered into our Great Wessex Bake Off, and judged by the two lucky directors.
The winner was Jess with her gluten free Victoria Sandwich. Pictured right collecting her prize voucher from Spencer.
As well as the bake sale we ran a raffle, with a number of Xcellent prizes that were donated by local businesses and staff members.
This event raised over £400 for Julia's House.
We're continuing to raise money for Julia's House over the year with several events planned for the coming months.
Our next event is a sponsored walk from our office in Salisbury to Stonehenge. This is the distance of a half marathon.
A group of 20 employees, friends and family will be walking across Wiltshire to raise money for the charity.
If you'd like to sponsor our walkers you can do so here.
Our Charity Committee is a group of volunteers who organise the business' charity events. This includes arranging office based activities and events within the community.
