Today is Valentines day and while people around the world celebrate those they love we’ve chosen to do the same, but with cars that we love. The team have gotten together to put together this list of their top five cars that are currently available in the UK that we think you’ll love just as much as we do!

Cars We Love in 2023

1. Audi A3

The first car to make it onto our most loved models is the Audi A3. It’s currently available in three body styles; cabriolet, hatchback (or sportback as Audi call it) and a saloon and whilst we love them all the hatchback is top of the pack.

The A3 Sportback is just as nimble and easy to handle as the A1 but is slightly larger so you and your passengers will have plenty of room. There’s plenty of choice with a range of trim levels and optional extras that you can add to the vehicle to really make it your own which we think is ideal as drivers can find a vehicle that really meet their needs.

Germany is home to several of the world’s most popular car manufacturers and Audi is one of the big three, along with Mercedes-Benz and BMW who have a rich history in the country and industry that has lead to them being thought of as one of the premium car brands on the market.

If you want to learn more about the A3 or think you’d be interested in getting one for your next car then why not look at our excellent A3 leasing offers?

2. Nissan Qashqai

Our second pick has long been one of our favourites – the Nissan Qashqai! This fantastic hatchback has featured in a number of our articles over the years since it was first introduced and that’s because we really do love it!

It’s not only us who love the Qashqai though, it’s won plenty of awards over the years including the 2022 What Car? Car of the Year award.

Nissan is a Japanese brand that is known for creating reliable models and has risen in popularity in recent years thanks to models like the JukeLeaf and of course the Qashqai.

If you’re looking for a capable SUV that’s got all the latest in convenience and safety technology, is an affordable price and from a reliable brand then you don’t need to look any further than the Qashqai. 3. Tesla Model Y

We couldn’t create a list of cars we love without including a Tesla. While there’s now plenty of competition in the electric vehicle (EV) market Tesla was the original EV brand and remains a leader in innovation and performance.

Tesla was created as a brand that solely produced electric vehicles and when they first came on the scene they revolutionised the electric sector with their long ranges and fast charging speeds. Stylistically they were very different as well with clean futuristic looking interiors and stylish aerodynamic silhouettes. Their uniqueness and quality EV technology was what led to Tesla becoming so popular and remaining so.

The Model Y is an SUV based on their best-selling Model 3 saloon so includes a lot of the features and stylings that has made the brand so successful. There’s the choice of three different models depending on what you need from your electric SUV, RWD, Long Range and Performance models.

4. MG4

Our penultimate pick is the MG4. MG was originally founded in the UK but is now a subsidiary of a Chinese automotive company which has allowed the company to maintain the knowledge and understanding of decades in the UK motor sector but with the backing of a larger company. Modern MGs offer you a combination of cutting edge electric technology, stylish designs and comfortable, spacious interiors all at an affordable price.

The MG4 is the second fully electric model to make it onto our list and it’s a spacious hatchback that offers drivers an affordable alternative to the likes of the ID.3 and the Cupra Born

There’s two mileage ranges for you to choose from, with the longer range offering up to 281 miles on a single charge which is more than enough for most driver’s daily needs. We have a range of guides that are dedicated to EVs  that it might be worth reading if you’re interested in learning more about how they work, in particular how an EV’s mileage range can be affected by the road, your driving style or even the weather.

5. Suzuki Swift

The final spot in our list has been taken by a model you might not expect – the Suzuki Swift. Whilst Suzuki and the Swift in particular might not have been very popular when the model first came out the brand has quietly evolved into an attractive option for more and more drivers.

The Swift is perhaps Suzuki’s best-known model and the hatchback has recently undergone a few changes to make it more appealing to modern drivers. And whilst it might look like a different model it remains the same Swift at its core, which is an affordable compact hatchback that’s swift in name and nature which is what drivers love about it.

There is a range of trim levels for you to choose from, as well as the option to add four-wheel drive or upgrade to the Sport model which we love as it means there’s a version that will be suitable for any driver.
