The Junior, showcasing Alfa Romeo's  unmistakable Italian design, is a new compact crossover SUV that was fully launched and available for sale in the UK during 2025, with both mild-hybrid (Ibrida) and all-electric (Elettrica) versions on offer.

The Italian manufacturer is known for creating beautiful sporty cars that match performance and style, and the Junior marks a historic moment as the first production battery electric vehicle (BEV).

The Junior features unique Alfa Romeo styling cues, including the signature "Scudetto" grille (available in classic or all-electric interpretations), bespoke 'teledial' alloy wheels, and a sculpted profile that helps it stand out in the crowded B-SUV segment.

It offers buyers a choice of both mild-hybrid and full-electric powertrains on the same platform, which helps cater to different market preferences while sharing underlying engineering from the Stellantis group.

Your Alfa Romeo Junior leasing questions answered

Alfa Romeo Junior leasing lets you drive a brand-new car while making fixed monthly payments following a low upfront payment. You can choose the length of the contract, with options including 24, 36 and 48 months, while also selecting annual mileage and individual specifications.

When the deal comes to an end, you may have the option of extending the lease or otherwise, simply hand the car back, with no hassle or fuss.

The cheapest Junior leasing deal will vary depending on the best offers we can find at the time so we can’t guarantee a particular model will always be the cheapest of our selection.

The Alfa Romeo Junior can function as a viable compact family car, but its suitability depends on the size and age of the family, as rear passenger space is tight for taller adults or bulky child seats. It's better suited for families with younger children or as a second, more urban-focused vehicle rather than a primary long-distance family hauler.

The interior is designed around the driver, with a dual-cowl binnacle housing a 10.25-inch digital instrument cluster and a central 10.25-inch touchscreen infotainment system angled towards the drive. Standard features across all trims include wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. It boasts a respectable boot capacity of 415 litres for the hybrid and 400 litres for the electric version. The EV model also includes a small "frunk" for storing charging cables.

All models come equipped with a range of safety features including adaptive cruise control, autonomous emergency braking (AEB) with pedestrian detection, and rear parking sensors. Optional packs can add Level 2 autonomous driving capabilities and a 180-degree rear-view camera.
